Jubilee Window Displays

The Blairgowrie Merchants Association are running a Queen's Jubilee Street Window Competition for businesses in the town.  I had a wander around this evening and it was lovely to see so many shop windows with their bunting and Jubilee themed window displays,  a lot of hard work has been put in. Tried to capture them as best I good, but as you can see there is a lot of reflection so you will have to pop along to Blairgowrie and see them for yourself!  I apologise if I missed any windows out.  On Sunday there are events all day in the town centre to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.

Wild Beavers (Again)

Well yesterday evening I finally got around to taking some guests out to see some of our genuine Wild Beavers.  Naturally I emphasised the fact that we may well not see any, but lady luck was on our side this evening.  Ideal conditions and we didn't wait at all long until our first sighting.  We then walked further and were treated to a really good view of a beaver, unfortunately I only got one non blurry picture.  Really delighted that my guests got to see one.

Tentsmuir

Tentsmuir is a Nature Reserve about 45 minutes away, 2.5 miles east of Tayport which is just over the Tay Bridge at Dundee.  There are forest walks/ cycling tracks, sculpture trail, nature, sand dunes, picnic areas and a great beach and of course the sea.  Last Sunday was certainly a 'beach day'.
