'Autumn, the year's last, loveliest smile' a beautiful quote on a poster at the Community Market in Blairgowrie today. Had a chat to the lady behind Kitchen Garden Delights and bought some of her plum ketchup, she makes and grows everything she sells......impressive. I also purchased a new book called 'Berry Treasured Memories' all about the soft fruit industry in the area, a very interesting, fascinating piece of history. The book is in the lounge for you to read. Another pleasant day today with the chickens enjoying the warmth and rounded off with a stunning sunset.
Recalling the highs and lows of running a Bed and Breakfast for 22 years and other stuff.

Wild Flowers
The other day I picked a rather lovely bunch of wild flowers/plants that are growing in the field where the peas were, such a beautiful array carpeting the field. I suppose many will class them as weeds, but still very pretty. I have no idea of the names of some of them although once upon a time I could reel of the top ten garden weeds in Latin. Today I decided to take some pictures of them, just because.

The Start of Autumn
The beginning of Autumn and you couldn't ask for a nicer day the blue sky and sun and warm air hitting your face first thing in the morning. Unusually for a Sunday no one was 'departing' all going tomorrow. It was a climbing a mountain getting out and enjoying the outdoors sort of a day, however, my children wanted to go and see my Mum, so we did. We went into Perth first as one of my daughter's wished to go to a certain shop....oh how I love clothes shopping or shopping in general...not! Anyway I had my camera so did my usual random shots, Perth is such an architectural gem, could spend hours wandering about looking up and down and all around in awe. Went and saw my Mum and came home again.
