Had a pleasant walk this afternoon, just nearby, wandering about without any purpose. I wander a lot without purpose, one of my brother's says I will end up a mad old woman surrounded by dogs. Can think of worse things to end up as! Lot's of beaver activity at local loch, so will have to do a stake out when the evening's get lighter and dazzle you with photos that look amazing on my camera but look absolutely terrible when downloaded on the computer. Have guest's in all week who are house hunting in the area, couldn't persuade them to buy mine. The person who I mentioned before who nearly bought my house has put an offer in on a much larger and grander house in the town, well if I had her budget I would have gone for the other one as well. I know the owner of said house quite well so she is delighted, after her house has been on market nearly two years, she is in the B&B game as well. I painted my upstairs lounge last week, it looks much 'warmer' now. Am running out of things to do in the B&B as nothing needs done, guess it is just a case of maintaining it now.

Glenshee and an update
The weather has been lovely this week and I have done a bit of dramatic pruning in the back garden which has opened up the views from my lounge, which I have also totally rearranged. I had a Visit Scotland Inspector stay last week which I had an inkling about, but wasn't sure until he presented me with his card the next morning. I usually have the same Inspector every year, so nice to get another opinion on the B&B. I was a bit shocked that he didn't make any negative comments at all, which is excellent. Gave my confidence in running the B&B a real boost. Yesterday and today were stunning sunny days so I went and did a bit of ski-ing and had a couple of snowboard lessons. It isn't easy!! but just like anything the more you do it the better you will become.

Scottish Air Ambulance
Had a distraction from the housekeeping this morning when a Scottish Air Ambulance Helicopter landed in the field....not much else to say about it! Had a busy weekend with skiers and have more sporty types coming tonight, regular guests who go fishing. Forgot to say that a couple of weeks ago thought the house was sold, but it hasn't, who knows. Actually answer probably is no, all a bit strange, but I went into major panic mode. Doesn't really matter, but shall see what the spring market is like, before I make another earth shattering, life changing decision. However, you may not be in the market for a 6 bedroom house, but you may be interested in a little property in the South of France. Easy to get to and near the beach, Click here, pictures of property could be bit better though.
