The Start of Autumn

The beginning of Autumn and you couldn't ask for a nicer day the blue sky and sun and warm air hitting your face first thing in the morning.  Unusually for a Sunday no one was 'departing' all going tomorrow.  It was a climbing a mountain getting out and enjoying the outdoors sort of a day, however, my children wanted to go and see my Mum, so we did.  We went into Perth first as one of my daughter's wished to go to a certain shop....oh how I love clothes shopping or shopping in general...not!   Anyway I had my camera so did my usual random shots, Perth is such an architectural gem, could spend hours wandering about looking up and down and all around in awe. Went and saw my Mum and came home again. 

Heartwood 2013

Perthshire Open Studios has been taking place again this September, so managed over to the Heartwood exhibition in the woodland grounds of Monkquell in Blairgowrie. I blogged about my visit in 2011
It was another captivating visit with very tactile sculptures around the woods, a dry sunny autumnal day with the sun glistening through the tree canopy.  Took far too many photos as usual, but just love capturing what I see for my own enjoyment and hopefully yours as well.
