The Olympic Torch Relay 2012

After our wander we took our place amongst a big turn out of people in anticipation for the Olympic Torch Relay coming through Coupar Angus.  There was a jovial atmosphere amongst everyone and then the cavalcade arrived.  The police motorbikes were out in force and created much entertainment sounding their sirens followed by the buses and then the torch bearer.  I can only imagine the excitement they must have felt and it is something they will treasure for the rest of their lives.  I too felt a real buzz about the whole thing - a once in a lifetime experience.  Loved the whole spectacle.
