Cracker of a day so much so that I even ventured into the garden for a bit of a tidy up. My daily dog walk took me over the fields up by Newton Castle and along up Kirk Wynd to have a look around the kirkyaird. A large proportion of the headstones are in a bit of a mess now but nontheless fascinating to look at. There is a lot of history in the Kirk Wynd corner of Blairgowrie and I have an excellent leaflet called 'Walk with the Ghosts' which tells you all about it, interestingly written by a near neighbour called Maurice Fleming
