Waterfalls, Trees and Autumn Leaves

Today's jaunt to get the children out into the fresh air was across to Dunkeld to 'Rumbling Bridge' then to 'The Hermitage'.  It was a bit slippy at the rocks  at Rumbling Bridge today so didn't take any chances.

The children were quite impressed with the waterfalls, so we then headed along to The Hermitage.

The children were enthralled to see so many red squirrels amongst the trees, tried in vain to photograph one, but the zoom on my camera wasn't focusing in properly so missed an opportunity.

I have never seen The Hermitage so busy, but then I don't usually go at the weekend. Everyone was enjoying and taking photos of the Autumn leaves and the spectacular waterfall. Ossian's Hall was jam packed with people out on the viewing platform.

On the way back to Blairgowrie, or of course on the way to Dunkeld, you will pass these fabulous metal figures in a garden, keep a watch out for them.
