Meet the Perthshire Food Producers Evening

Shiitake Mushrooms from Fortren Mushrooms, Comrie
Cairn O' Mhor Winery - finally got around to sampling some of their excellent apple juice - will be a great addition to breakfast refreshments.
Hettie's Teas - fabulous aromas and selection.
The Wee Pie Company - sampled them on the buffet - wow, delicious.
Gordon and Durward, Crieff - great Scottish sweeties.
The Perthshire Breakfast, which as you know I do!
 Scarletts of Meigle scrummy honey.
Perthshire Oatcakes, huge range of varieties.
 Charlottes Chocolate, yummy.
 The fabulous Summer Harvest Oil.
Tony Heath demonstrated Collops of Perthshire Venison on venison sausage with chestnuts, thyme, shallots, 'shrubberry' wine and rowanberry jelly with roast potato slices followed by Autumn Harvest Fruit Crumble Crunch.

A great buffet was enjoyed by all.
James Pirie and Son, sausage and haggis champions.
Rather tasty beers from Inveralmond Brewery.
Also in attendance were Thomas Thomson Berries, The Famous Grouse, Dalchonzie Fruit Farm and George Campbell & Sons (seafood specialist) - sorry forgot to take a picture.

Many of the producers are at the monthly Perth Farmers Market, worth going along to.

It is making my mouth water to read your blog post! My cousin and I stayed at your B&B last month at the start of our walk on the Cateran Trail. We have been telling everyone about the amazing breakfast you made for us!
